About this tool
Guests are parsed from your list, grouped, and placed with a best-fit pass that keeps a group at one table when it fits and splits it only when the group is larger than a table; a seeded local-search pass then swaps guests between tables while it improves how many people sit with their own group. You can drag guests to rearrange, and the room, tables and seats are drawn to scale for printing. Everything runs in your browser — no guest data leaves the page.
