The classic shortest perfect pangram: 26 letters, each used exactly once. It leans on rare loanwords and abbreviations — cwm (a Welsh valley), fjord (Norwegian), glyph, vext (an archaic spelling of vexed) and quiz — so many word lists dispute it. It is legitimate as a letter-set, not as everyday English.

About this tool

This checker runs five classic letter-set tests on whatever you type — pangram, perfect pangram, heterogram/isogram, lipogram on a letter you choose, and the anagram-of-the-alphabet test (which is the perfect-pangram condition expressed as multiset equality). It also counts every letter A–Z, lists what is missing and what repeats, and charts the letter frequency.

Non-letters are ignored for letter logic and only the 26 ASCII letters A–Z count toward the pangram test; accents, digits, punctuation and other scripts are ignored for letter logic, and upper and lower case are treated identically. Everything runs in your browser as you type — no text is uploaded or stored anywhere.
