About this tool

This generator keeps a height map of the grid and projects every column onto the classic isometric basis (2:1 by default), drawing the top, front-left and front-right faces with light, mid and dark shading. Columns are sorted back-to-front with a painter's algorithm so overlaps read as real 3D, and the exported PNG is a 2× raster of the same SVG.

The grid is capped at 24 × 24 cells and 12 units of height so the SVG stays responsive in the browser. Everything — drawing, projection and export — runs entirely on your device; no data leaves the page.
