About this tool
Vignette Generator measures a superellipse-shaped distance from the frame centre to every pixel, so dragging the roundness slider smoothly morphs the mask from a pure circle into a rectangle that follows the photo's own edges. Each pixel is then blended toward your chosen edge colour through a smoothstep ramp, which is why the transition stays free of banding. Wide images are capped at 2400px for speed, and the whole render happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
