Image to Pixel Text
Every cell of the image becomes one character from a ramp, at its own colour. Copy the text, copy ANSI for a terminal, or download a rendered PNG.

About this tool
The image is resampled to one cell per character (cells are twice as tall as wide, as a monospace glyph is), tone-mapped, and each cell takes a character from your ramp at its own colour. ANSI mode wraps every glyph in a 24-bit foreground escape code so you can paste it straight into a terminal, and the PNG is a real rendering of the same grid — not a screenshot. Everything runs in this browser, with the source capped at 1600px and the grid at 400 × 200 cells.
